Christine Rapp proudly joined the Eyewitness News team in October 2015 as a Digital Meteorologist. You can find her work on the WSOC-TV social mediaaccounts, on wsoctv.com as well as filling in on-air.

Prior to coming to Charlotte, Christine spent over two years as the Morning Meteorologist at KKTV in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She covered all types of weather in Colorado, including a massive wildfire, deadly flash flooding during the summer of 2014, and numerous major winter events. Christine also enjoyed hiking, skiing and snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains during her time in the Springs. Christine also spent three years as the Weekend Meteorologist at KOMU in Columbia, Missouri, while working on her degree. She is a graduate from the University of Missouri with a degree in Atmospheric Science and a minor in Spanish. Christine is a current member of the American Meteorological Society, National Weather Association, Chi Epsilon Pi Meteorology Honors Society, and Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.

As a Chicago native, Christine looks forward to living on the east coast and traveling throughout the beautiful state of North Carolina! In her free time, she loves to play and watch sports, cheer on her favorite Windy City teams, and spend time with her husband, Brad, and their miniature schnauzer, Thunder. Christine is very excited to call Charlotte home.
